(cze): Starí Rekové chápali chaos jakožto totální absenci struktury až do stavu prázdnoty a neexistence. Na prelomu 19. a 20. století Poincarè chaos vnímal jako nevyhnutelné vnitrní ohrožení matematického rádu. V poslední dobe chaos vpadl do prírodních ved a experimentální matematiky aby se stal jed- nou z nejmódnejších vedeckých myšlenek osmdesátých let dvacátého století. Ruzní autori prisuzují chaosu ruzná adjektiva jako (i) stochastický, náhodný, (ii) nepredikovatelný, nestabilní, (iii) ergodický, mísící, (iv) pravidelnost v neusporádanosti, (v) nerozhodnutelný. K temto kvalitativním nebo proste metaforickým popisum jsou prirazovány presnejší kvantitativní míry vyjá- drené velicinami (i) výkonové spektrum a korelacní funkce, (ii) Lyapunovy exponenty, (iii) vygenerovaná informace a Kolmogorovova entropie, (iv) sa- mopodobnost (self-similarity) a fraktální dimense, (v) algoritmická složitost.

(eng): The ancient Greeks understood chaos as the total absence of structures to the point emptiness and absence. At the turn of the 19th and 20 century Poincaré perceived chaos internal threats as unavoidable mathematical order. In recent times chaos raided the experimental natural sciences and mathematics to become a one- Nou trendiest of scientific ideas eighties of the twentieth century. Different authors attribute the chaos Different adjectives such as (i) a stochastic, random, (ii) unpredictable, unstable, and (iii) ergodic, mixing, and (iv) the periodicity of the disorder, (v) undecidable. Alongside these qualitative or simply metaphorical descriptions are assigned more precise variable (i) the power spectrum and correlation function, (ii) the Lyapunov exponents, (iii) the generated information and Kolmogorov entropy, (iv),- mopodobnost (self-similarity) and the fractal dimension, (v) the algorithmic complexity.
