Real-world comprises thousands of materials having different surface appearances.
Department: SI Duration: 2022 - 2024 Grantor: GACR
We shall study and develop aggregations of two or more research methodologies, optimal with respect to the observed data, in order to reach the most accurate conclusion. The task is also to aggregate adequately several available datasets. We shall follow mainly applications in economics, business and insurance.

The project is aimed at research in the field of stochastic systems in infinite dimensions, especially stochastic partial differential equations with non-Markovian and non-Gaussian noise terms. The main goal is to study basic properties thereof, in particular, the existence, uniqueness and regularity in time and space.
Department: SI Duration: 2022 - 2024 Grantor: GACR
The project deals with the development of active fault diagnosis (AFD) algorithms for stochastic discrete-time large-scale systems. To achieve the feasibility of the algorithms, tensor decompositions (TDs) will be employed in several components of the AFD algorithm design.
Department: MTR Duration: 2021 - 2024 Grantor: GACR
The goal of this project is the quantitative analysis of carbon reduction policies, namely Carbon Tax and Cap and Trade. For each of these policies, an optimal control model will be formulated; for Carbon Tax, the tax rate will serve as the control, for Cap and Trade, the controls will include the amounts of freely allocated allowances and the timing of their auctioning.
Department: ZS Duration: 2021 - 2024 Grantor: FG
The main objective of the storAIge project is the development and industrialization of FDSOI 28nm and next generation embedded Phase Change Memory (ePCM) world-class semiconductor technologies, allowing the prototyping of high performance, Ultra low power and secured & safety System on Chip (SoC) solutions enabling competitive Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Edge applications. The main cha

We will propose a mathematically lucid setting for the derivation of reduced models from nonlinear continuum thermomechanics. We will justify linearized models in thermoviscoelasticity and viscoplasticity as limits of the nonlinear deformation theory employing variational convergence.

The aim of the project is to develop analytical tools to support the investigation of the locomotion of soft-bodied animals and robots, with a focus on limbless locomotion. Topics such as stabilization to limit cycles, optimal control and multiscale models will be studied.
Department: SI Duration: 2021 - 2023 Grantor: GACR
We want to conduct some meaningful and fruitful research into multivariate nonparametric econometrics.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2021 - 2024 Grantor: GACR
The project aims at developing a conceptually novel approach to inverse problems by proposing a unified theory of invariants to integral transformations using projection operators, and applying it to image restoration and classification problems in biomedical imaging and robotics.
Department: Duration: 2021 - 2023 Grantor: GACR
Project will be devoted to the investigation of novel concepts for the analysis and design of nonlinear controllers of flexible and chained mechanical systems to either compensate or control efficiently their oscillatory modes and limit cycles.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2020 - 2021 Grantor:
